  as someone who wants to work in publishing/journalism and this kind of assistant job would absolutely open millions of doors for her in all of the industry!!!! not just in fashion

  "but you are skinny" every time my friends and I watch this we always laugh at how insane body standards were back in the early 2000s! so many movies from the early 2000s were like that with people who were skinny but were not "model skinny" it's so sad but glad we have moved past that (to an extent) as a society!

  The boyfriend and friends always irk me because why couldn't they just understand that Andy wanted to be committed and get a good word from Miranda so that she can work where she really wants...it was gonna be just for a year. Sometimes you have to sacrifice a few things to reach your goals, which is totally understandable. Missing his birthday maybe was too much but she did apologize, and she really did try to make it in time

  Andis friends and boyfriends were actually the worst! This job is a check mark to her actual goal which is to be a journalist, instead of supporting her and understanding that at this point she’s gotta do whatever she can they make fun of her and make her seem like she’s crazy for working towards those goals

  I see both sides of why her friends and Nate were mad. Miranda was changing her in multiple ways (not all bad either!) But to take all the fancy accessories and bags from her high stress job and then make fun of her for taking it seriously? That’s LAME behavior from them. Nate was also very serious about his job and I think it was mean to look down on others who don’t have the same interest and jobs as them (ie chef/journalist over fashion/designer) Their behavior on all ends was annoying. They all had growing up to do.

  I hate the her not knowing where to put the book. She said be invisible. She said put the clothes in the closet across from the stairs (aka right inside the door). If you are to be invisible, you put the book on the table with flowers that is RIGHT INSIDE THE DOOR and next to the closet you put the clothes in. It seems obvious to me.
