You're the first person's video I've watched that felt the same way as me.... the pastor could've been out there working. Sammy had to work and get the younger children up, while the mom is washing clothes. Also at the end he didn't even ask Sammy if he was ok. Or what happened. He just wanted him to drop the guitar.

I love that when they showed Remick talking they sometimes scored the his talking with Irish music playing in the background. Even as he burned up there were notes of Irish music playing and I just really love the attention to detail. It's been a really long time since anyone put this much effort and thought into a movie and it pays off immensely.

I feel so bad for Mary. She grew up with the twins, they're her family. Everyone knows her family so they know she's not fully white but because of her skin color she's pushed away when all she wants is to be with her loved ones. I can't imagine happily growing up a part of a community and then being ripped away from it and sent somewhere else where you dont know anyone.
