It’s 6:40 AM. I couldn’t sleep so I’m in my recliner watching you. I’ve decluttered so much, my house is tidy and I feel good.

Greetings from Ukraine🇺🇦! Overestimating the time needed for tasks is so real, but underestimating it is just as bad! This weekend, I decided to fix my RO water system — I needed to pump air into the pressure tank so it would have enough pressure to push the water out. I thought it would take me about 15–20 minutes, so I started right away after getting out of bed.
Then it turned out that my 220V-to-12V car socket adapter wasn't powerful enough to run the air pump. So I had to carry the heavy tank full of water down to my car (luckily, it was parked right by the entrance of my apartment building), pump it up using the car's cigarette lighter, carry it back home, drain it, and repeat until it was completely empty. Only then could I pump it to the proper pressure.
It took me two and a half hours! But I'm just glad I finally got it done.

Dishes done, 25 items left the house, and reset the living room. Thanks Cas! 🎉❤

We are currently decluttering our home of 32 years. Sooo much stuff and setting a timer has been a game changer! And other times, we choose 1 box to go thru. Thanks Cas for all your time and expertise! 😍

I recently realized that at the age of 71 now that I'm retired that I cannot motivate myself until the absolute last minute!! I mean I'm even looking back on high school probably junior high definitely college everything was last minute I always pulled all nighters and got a little bit of sleep before the next day but everything would come together at the last minute and I'm even doing projects now at the last minute and being sleep deprived for the next day! So I appreciate you and all your videos but especially ones on motivation and stopping procrastination thank you❤

This podcast IS the reward. I look forward to these, and I "treat" myself by popping in the earbuds and borrowing your enthusiasm for 20 or so minutes at a time.

I spent all 40 minutes cleaning out my freezer. Can't stop because food is melting! But I. Halfway there. I truly enjoyed this. Have been putting off freezer for a few weeks now. THANK YOU!

My reward: I find a movie or a video I want to watch and tell myself that I need to complete the task first. I like series or multi-episodes because the reward will last for a couple of days. I trained myself not to watch the next episode until I get another task done by telling myself 1) it will still be available to watch a tomorrow, 2) it will give me something to look forward to. 3) I will enjoy it more when I have less stress on my mind.

I'm in an intense stage of life with small kids. So I'm fantasy cleaning instead of actually cleaning while rocking a screaming baby in the back yard so I don't wake my toddler.... But I feel smarter because I listened to you so that's a win!

My first thought: this blazer makes the color of your eyes stand out just wonderful … and now I start listening while getting rid of paper clutter. Greetings from Germany!

I lost my job of 8 years in February and I'm still unemployed 😢 Anyways I had spiraled into a bad depression and my house got so cluttered (Not dirty just cluttered). For the last week I have been binge watching your podcast and episodes and my house is 80% de-cluttered and organized & I just wanted to say Thank you!!! ❤

20:45 I keep a journal on my bed and every night before bed I go to the “Daily Wins” page where for each month I number each line 1-30 and I write down the things I’m most proud of for doing that day. Sometimes it’s “nap” or something you wouldn’t consider high efficiency or productivity. But it helps me feel good and then I can look back at each month and see what things brought me much joy 😊
