  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIvfeTLHB0o&amp;t=1055">17:35</a> &quot;a mind bender&quot;... and as he states in the summary - the most important point - &quot;the number&quot; is a concept that will totally change once you spend time out of US/Canada/UK etc. &nbsp;When talking with Americans-in-America about finances I feel like we&apos;re living in two different realities (which in fact we are...) - you don&apos;t internalize it in a week in Guatemala or Thailand, but when you spend 6 months (at the least) in one place and you establish a routine/lifestyle - then it&apos;s real... and enlightening.

  I&apos;ll have to honest, I do fear the taxes (US cit)... mine are already a mix of complications and advantages, that are quickly becoming something beyond my confidence. &nbsp;Let alone at &apos;home&apos;...

Keep cash so you don’t need to exchange at unfavorable rates (ie you are determining and judging what unfavorable rate is and timing the market), then say dont time the market it will all balance out in the end.

  That Wise Card may or may not work in Vietnam. Check the list of counties for your card.
