  My wife of 36 years is Russian from the city of Stary Oskol and a US Citizen now. She tells everyone, DO NOT TRUST the Russian government, never. She said those people on the shared value thing are fools and better get out of Russia asap. The first time she heard about that she said it&apos;s a scam. My wife won&apos;t even return to Russia for visits to her friends.

  Sorry, but I have nothing good to say about them. I would rather give the husband a real slapdown because how he put his family in jeopardy. I have no patience with this kind of stupidity. At the same time i admire Your gentle way towards them.

  I am very familiar with this Canadian family, before they moved to Russia. My opinion is based on their own words. The father and wife are religious zealots, who&apos;s main problem with the western world is based in intolerance and a rabid form of homophobia. He is not a smart man, consumed with a almost cult-like plan for his family of extreme values. He was warned, he doubled down, almost in spite, and now receives the reward of his narrow minded, self justified POV. I would like to find grace in my heart for them, and for the children I do. They are the ones that will suffer the most. For him and his equally misguided wife, I have NO sympathy. As the saying goes &quot;You make your bed, now you can lie in it&quot;.

  Personally, I have no sympathy for a guy who decided to go living in a country who invade an other country and kill civilians (babies, childrens, womens...) each day.<br>This Canadian couple knew that before leaving for Russia. And they didn&apos;t give a F _ _ K.<br>He said that he shares Russia values, which means Putin values.<br>Now, he has got what he deserves.<br>Greeting from FRANCE 🇫🇷
