I got out in 83 I didn't even make 2200 a month, it was more 8k a year. Plus the weed I sold on board, and 50% loans I gave out 2 week loan or I am collecting, (this brought back many memory's). I was a Boiler tech, I didn't get sht but a VA loan.

Why does a person, with diabetes, under control thru medication, receive a 20% rating, but a person with hypertension, under control thru medication, receives a 0% rating?

I was given a 20% after a back injury from a truck accident in Germany during operation Desert Shield, I was stationed from 1979 to 1983 today im in a wheelchair and living off my 20% compensation and I'm over 65 years old.

I’m burning my DD214. I served 81-85 and never qualified for any kind of benefits. Just a useless piece of paper

What about when the VA admits you have nurelogical problem which started while I was in but refuse to rate it? And they know it causes other problems.

I was stationed aboard the USS BOXER, LPH-4, from 67 to69, I was a boiler tech, surrounded by asbestos 24 hours a day. Also terrible loud banging in the boiler rooms. I have lost one kidney to cancer, part of my thyroid, have spots on one lung, and also have Chronic Kidney disease in my remaining kidney. All of that was turned down by the VA and was just given 10% for tinnitus and nothing either for not being able to sleep. I think the VA is a racket.
