I would awesome that the pension from war time service, would not apply to an actual retiree. For example, I served 26 years and retired on disability.<br>I receive a disability pay, and my retirement is a separate pay. I imagine you know just how overwhelming this information is? I’m 69, and this stuff is flying over my head faster than a SR-71.

Veterans shouldn’t have to play detective to get the benefits they’ve earned. When great resources stay buried, vets miss out. Ask around, check local programs, and get answers, never leave benefits on the table just because no one spoke up.
