  &quot;Well-wallah&quot; refers to people who live down the gravity well of a planet. The &quot;wallah&quot; suffix is used in Hindi for forming words for people who do/are involved with the thing in question (e.g. a taxi-wallah would be a taxi driver), so in this case someone who belongs planetside. For a Belter like Miller, it&apos;s effectively saying he&apos;s not a true Belter.

  I am a sci-fi fan of all sci-fi. The Expanse is my all time favorite sci-fi TV series. No phasers, no warp drive, no force fields, no artificial gravity. As close to reality with some sci-fi thrown in for a good story. And the story is well told, well acted, and well produced. One word of warning: this show is a master at the brutal cliffhanger. I look forward to your react to episode 4. (I smile with evil grin) :)

In the book this kid is described in the scene, and they say that she&apos;s 2 and a half, but looks closer to a 4 or 5 year old would on earth, due to growing up in such low gravity her whole life.

  The bird is flying that way because Ceres Station has been spun to create spin gravity. Inside, close to the surface it is 1/3rd gravity. The bird doesn&apos;t have to flap as much or as hard to stay in the air.

  the expanse community is incredible... the greatest sci fi show ever made..... youll probably hear many times but get thru first 4 episodes of set up and then it takes off and never looks back..... also like u said this show is universally recognized as one of, if not the top, most scientifically accurate
