  This show caught me off guard. Now one of my favorite sci-fi shows of all time. What&apos;s so good is how they don&apos;t spoon feed you all the thought and detail that goes into building a realistic environment of what a realistic future might looks like, both tech-wise and socially. Great show!

  Welcome to the churn.<br><br>Apropos of Jordan&apos;s comment about &apos;no Earth stuff in the first book&apos;: yeah. When they adapted the books to TV, they added Chrisjen Avasarala and the UN plotline a book early because they realized that she&apos;s 100% pure gold and it would be a crime not to put her in from episode 1. And Shoreh&apos;s portrayal of her is pure chef&apos;s kiss.

  So good to have someone who appreciates and understands good sci-fi reacting. Some channels can be so frustrating reacting to this series.

  Watching 3 episodes at a time is a good call. When I rewatch it, I can&apos;t stop binging until the end of season 4.<br>I love how the first scene in Earth starts with a kid throwing a water balloon, showing the huge difference of resources from the Belt.

  The Expanse is smart &amp; grounded but still amazing in its high tech fantasy. It doesn’t treat the viewers like idiots.

  Yes! &nbsp;Such a sleeper smash hit! Amazing actors, and awesome sets/effects! This series was done right, with love for the craft.
