Which CD player is best for you? Moondrop Discdream 2 vs Fiio DM13

  I have many Fiio products because they just do what they say they will well and for a decent price. They remind me of Sony back in the 80s.

  One other consideration on these types of light weight cd players is the push button factor. &nbsp;Nothing more frustrating on a top load cd player is no controls on the top. &nbsp;Consider the Moondrop Discdream2 on your desktop or on the top shelf of your audio rack and every time you push a button to play/stop/skip the unit slides backwards away from you. &nbsp;Are either of these units heavy enough to prevent that or do you have to hold them in place as you press buttons.

  I&apos;ve made my decision. For me, FiiO DM13 is way much better!

  I&apos;ve been looking for a CD player to sit next to a vinyl player on an old record cabinet I&apos;m refinishing (it was my wife&apos;s grandma&apos;s), and the Fiio having the buttons on TOP is actually a really useful feature to me.<br><br>Glad to know the performance is nearly identical between these two

  The Moondrop has a pair of corresponding (neodynium?) magnets to secure the lid in the closed position. <br>One inside the lid and one inside the unit both on the right hand side where the arrow is.

  I’m vindicated! Been using the term “Wall Wart” for years and thought it was part of everyone’s vernacular. Introduced the term to the gal cutting my hair, my wife, my tech, 39 yr old nephew, and his boss.
