  Great video, Andy! The FiiO DM15 R2R looks like a really special piece of gear. I love how you highlighted that sound combined with modern features . It’s exactly why CDs still matter. Your presentation made the nostalgia feel fresh again. Thanks for the honest impressions.

  I love streaming BUT I still buy Vinyl LPs or CDs of my favorites. Especially at the concert. Andy is right, this is a way to support underground music genres.

  I just got my DM15 R2R yesterday. The first CD I played was a short one, about 41 minutes. No issues, it sounds fantastic! The 2nd CD I played was 73 minutes long, it’s brand new, not a mark on it, and everything was fine until the end of the CD, when it started skipping like crazy then finally just stopped. So I put in a 79 minute CD. It played fine until near the end, when it just stopped playing the disc before the end. I tried other CD&apos;s with times over 70 minutes and none would play the entire disc without skipping or just stopping before the end of the disc.<br><br>This is the same issue I with the DM13. The DM13 was somewhat fixed with a firmware update, but I had to pay to have it shipped to FiiO for the update, and it still won&apos;t play some CD&apos;s without skipping or stopping. <br>The FiiO website said the latest DM15 firmware is comparable to the DM13. Apparently it is not. This new DM15 R2R has the newest firmware (v1.39). Very disappointing.<br>I returned it.
