  Hamburger Hill was what the Vietnam war was at its core, go and find and destroy aka kill the enemy leave the ground for the enemy to take it again. No one can explain what type of war this was except it could have been very much perpetual. The Vietnam war or Vietnam conflict proper seeing how no declaration was ever established was what happened when you let the military loose, I’m not for the civilians prying in and taking control partly but being a veteran myself and having served in combat we do need some type of entity to keep us in check with what we are doing or about to do, it can get out of hand. The ability to make careers out of deployments, earn medals, make money are all very real for the ones who want to make a career out of the military, I’ve never had more money than I had when I served when I got out for good that’s when the struggle happened and it hasn’t let up and I’ve been out since 09’ for 17 years longer than I ever served lol

  I love and hate the vietnam war equally.   Pathfinders!!!???? Da fuck is a pathfinder gonna do in the jungle 😂😂😂😂😂 pathfinder set up landing strips and LZ’s for the aircraft coming in but what I’m questioning is what would they have done clear cut and blown up the whole jungle around them???? Can’t establish a DZ you’d have to be too pin point on landing and a LZ I can see, one or two not an entire area that would support the landings of all the 101st that came into the battle I just don’t get why the Pathfinders were even being brought up lol 😂
