Sometimes people miss that the naked guy laying dead next to David in the beginning WAS the werewolf who attacked them. <br>The bloodline passed to David in the attack and he survived so when HE dies (with no surviving attack victims) all those people in limbo will be "freed".

An American Werewolf In London has one of the best practical effects transformations I've ever seen. That first werewolf sequence is top-notch, if not just a wee bit cheesy. And the fact that this movie and Michael Jackson's Thriller video had the same makeup artist (Rick Baker)? (chef's kiss)

The sequel, <i>An American Werewolf in Paris</i> , was not so well-received, but it''s a fun watch. It's not a true sequel, as it was released many years after the original.
