  Great “Cujo” reaction! I’ve always loved that movie and you brought a fresh energy to it. Good job. <br>Here’s a few “Cujo” fun facts: So They used 5 St. Bernards to play Cujo, &amp; a stuntman in a dog suit was used for some of the attack shots. They also used An animatronic Cujo head for close‑ups of the biting scenes. Also The dogs playing Cujo were actually sweet and friendly, &amp; they had trouble making them look aggressive. Also Stephen King wrote Cujo during a period he barely remembers due to alcohol &amp; drug addiction — he has said he doesn’t recall writing parts of &nbsp;Cujo.

  The child actor is Danny Pintauro who was in the tv series Who&apos;s the Boss, Mom is Dee Wallace who played the mother in ET and she&apos;s been in a lot of other great movies and the guy she was having an affair with, Christopher Stone, was her real life husband.

  The St. Bernard has always been known as a very noble and gentle breed and Stephen King chose that dog for that reason. Sadly, King&apos;s choice damaged the reputation of the breed for quite some time. It would be nearly ten years before the St. Bernard’s image was restored, thanks to the movie Beethoven.

  The book doesn&apos;t have a happy ending but I think they made the right choice to change it for the movie. <br>Many people who saw (or read) it when they were younger and revisited it later said, that it&apos;s a whole different experience if one has children of one&apos;s own or not. <br>Prior to this, director Lewis Teague made another animal attack &nbsp;movie, the great &quot;Alligator&quot; (highly recommended) and went on to direct (among other things) &quot;Cat&apos;s Eye&quot; (an anthology film based on short stories by Stephen KIng) and the romantic comedy adventure movie The Jewel of the Nile (sequel to Romancing the Stone).

  I think animals with rabies are really sensitive to sound, which is why Cujo was going after the phone. The ringing was probably giving him a splitting headache and seemed like it was attacking him.

  A remake has been announced. I&apos;ll admit I want the book ending this time along with the parts from cujo&apos;s point of view like in the book. If they can the connection to the dead zone too.
