  Europe is from Sweden let’s go, is a hard rock band 🇸🇪❤️ (The Final Countdown, Rock the Night, Open your heart, Carrie) are also really good songs from them.🚀⏱️😊 Joey Tempest is the lead singer, and he came up with the lyrics and the riff,  and that is how this song start to develop.🎤🎸🥁🎹 On the Gitarre is John Norum and later it come a new bassist is Peter Olsson and drummer Tony Reno to the band. 💛💙

  Pride and joy of my relatively small Swedish hometown of Upplands Vasby. Went to school with a few of them in the 70's/80's and they are/were really nice guys, never let the fame get to their heads. They still occasionally do homecoming outdoor concerts and man, when you hear The Final Countdown blasting all over town from miles away, it's quite the feeling, and ain't no one complaining.

  "Carrie" is another big rock ballad for them, "Cherokee" was a personal favorite of mine talking about the tribe, and "Rock The Night" was another fairly popular song of theirs! Oh and they are Swedish!

  This came out and was popular during the Cold War. I was stationed in W. Germany (85-90). This was hella crazy, playing all over & on juke boxes too. I got to experience the wall coming down. It was awesome!

  The band Europe had three top 30 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, including the hits "The Final Countdown," "Rock the Night," and the power ballad "Carrie," which peaked at #3. "The Final Countdown" reached #8 on the Billboard Hot 100, while "Carrie" reached #3.

  Joey Tempest.  One of the prettiest rock singers of the 80s. lol.  But dude can sing!   Yes. They are from Sweden.   And my god you were not expecting that solo were you?   Rock The Night and ballad Carrie are 2 more bangers from them
