  My generation takes all these songs for granted because we've heard them thousands of times. Its background noise to us when theyre played. It's really fun watching people experience them the very first time.

  Imagine being 12. Listening on a Walkman. Stood on the Northumberland coast looking out over the North Sea as a black storm rolls in. Wind howling, rain falling.<br>It&apos;s an abiding memory from my youth and a song that will be played at my funeral.

  I was in my 20&apos;s in the &apos;80s and it was the greatest time to be alive, and the music of the era was a HUGE part of the reason why.

  I&apos;m 50yrs old. My Mom never liked rock or loud music, except this one song! Any time it came on the radio she stopped what she was doing and turned it all the way up!❤<br>We played this at her funeral, can&apos;t listen it without a few teardrops...💔

  I remember New years eve 1999 in Stockholm, Sweden. Europe was on the water in the middle of the town (visible to over 300k people) playing for 30 minutes while we all waited for the new millennia. This was their last song that night. It was awesome!

  This is absolutely a real rock anthem. The vocalist is Joey Tempest, and the guitarist is John Norum. They&apos;re a Swedish band! That&apos;s pure rock!

  I&apos;m 62, and it thrills me to know that kids of your age, my grandchildren can appreciate the music we loved ..we rocked and didn&apos;t even appreciate it, we expected it.....

  If you wanted to encapsulate the 80s in one song this is it. This song was an anthem to kill all other anthems. This song broke the world and if the internet was around it would’ve broken that too. Play this loud and watch every 52 year old flock to your house.
