  Neo, stop giving these companies wings to never come down to value pricing. You should be encouraging them to offer value bulk pricing because its still a hobby to some of us. Not everyone is getting rich off grading.

  SGC just shot themselves in the foot. &nbsp;I had a big (20) stack of T206 cards i was getting ready to get graded or reholdered but that&apos;s not going to happen at $50 each.<br><br>CGC sounds good but they already have a 150 day wait time! Screw grading at this point. I&apos;m going to order some T206 One Touch from Pennysleever and call it a day

  A year ago I sent sgc two large orders and they were back to me delivered in 2 weeks. &nbsp;Now its like 50 days. &nbsp;Crazy.

  With graded cards being accepted as an alternative asset class, grading will not go away and cheap grading will not come back. &nbsp;Grading companies have to figure out a way to filter out base cards that get sent in non stop for grading.

  If psa went to 49.99/card they will no doubt get hammered with a bulk influx of cards and immediately get flooded again. As far as psa ignoring history and condemning themselves to repeat it….thats just piss poor management.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLskSW3b1SY&amp;t=481">8:01</a> I&apos;ve had a stack of some really vintage and prewar cards that I&apos;ve wanted to send to SGC for a while now. But the turn around time has been crazy high for months now, so I&apos;ve waited on sending them till it drops again. Them raising the price feels like a way to deal with their backlog caused by the PSA raid.

  FYI I submitted to CGC through COMC at the lowest price tier and it recently was returned - waiting time 64 actual days. So I think return times are varying quite a bit at CGC.

  I had 2 sports card orders that came back from SGC this month (Sept 2026) a total of 36 cards while check my shipping I noticed the price change form $15 to $50 wow that&apos;s insane, so I&apos;m going to hold off until things comes back to Normal

  If PSA determines that they make more money by grading less cards at $80 each than it was previously (likely), then there is absolutely no incentive for them ever to lower their prices.
