  The fact that you guys didn&apos;t talk at all about the special effects in this movie shows how well they still hold up to this day. You don&apos;t think, &quot;Wow, those are some great special effects!&quot; You think, &quot;Oh my god, that dinosaur is terrifying! Run!&quot;

  I saw this in the theater with a friend who is blind and her seeing eye dog was with us, sitting on the floor beside her. &nbsp;When it heard the dinosaur and banging and shooting and screaming at the beginning, the dog was ready to leave. &nbsp;We had no idea it was going to be that &quot;realistic.&quot;

  Imagine dedicating your entire life to researching something and having questions you know you are pretty much guaranteed to never find a definitive answer to, and then it&apos;s right in front of you. Must be an <b>undescribable</b> feeling. I&apos;ve loved dinosaurs for as long as I can remember and this is my favourite movie ever. &nbsp; &nbsp; Also Ellie wasn&apos;t sad that she found the extinct fern, she was amazed.

  This film was also one of the first, if not the first film to incorporate digital audio into the theater. Even as someone who works in the industry, I was blown away by the clarity and dynamic range of the music and sound design. 🦖😳

  My mom wouldn&apos;t let me see it cuz it was pg13 and I was only 8. I was so bummed. Luckily my dad picked me up and told Mom we were going out for dinner. He took me straight to the theatre and it was the best night of my life. Thanks dad!
