"I didn't think anyone was going to die!" Neither did my parents, who got me this movie when I was I think 5? They thought it was going to be a kids movie like Land Before Time. They were... partially mistaken.

Nobody ever mentions it in reactions but one of my favorite “little gags” is when they’re running away from the TRex in the jeep and they show the shot of the Rex in the side mirror and like most of them it says ‘objects in the mirror are closer than they appear.’
