I love the subtle bit of foreshadowing in the helicopter when Dr. Grant tries to attach the two female ends of the seatbelt with no success, and then finally just ties them together to make it work. Life...uh...finds a way.

I was 12 when I saw this in theaters. There really is no way of explaining that experience at that age in that era, with a movie like this. Everyone is spoiled now with effects, that experiences like this were special.

Over 30 years old and looks better than most stuff made today. Effects artists had to really work and be creative vs today where you can just drag elements in.

Filming for Jurassic Park was interrupted by a hurricane that hit Hawaii in September 1992. They incorporated some real shots of the effects on Hawaii by Hurricane Iniki that summer.
