Walking everyday is a game changer. I started a year ago with short walks, adding a few minutes here and there. Today I walk 90 minutes (split in three if I can) and I hope I am never going back to the level of sedentarity I had before because it really helped me on so many levels.
Thanks for sharing your tips😊

Protein forward meals, mini nature breaks a couple times daily at work, stretching really well after a hot shower before bedtime, journaling your thoughts

Electrolytes help my system. 10 minutes of walking after meals is a great thing. Can get lazy if it’s cold,Feel better once done though

What Christy shared about HRV is brilliant because it's like your nervous system's report card. HRV stands for Heart Rate Variability. Here's what it means in simple terms: Your heart doesn't beat like a perfect drum. Instead, it beats with tiny differences in timing between each beat.

HRV measures those tiny differences. When you're relaxed and healthy, your heart has a more varied rhythm (higher HRV). When you're stressed, sick, or tired, your heart beats with less variability (lower HRV).

Think of it like this: A stressed heart is like a person walking stiffly, while a relaxed heart is like someone walking with a natural, easy bounce in their step.

Devices like fitness trackers can measure this and tell you if your body is handling stress well or if you need more rest. Christy measures hers with the Oura ring, which is what I use as well. Another good device is Ultrahuman Ring Air.

To ensure overall well-being, prioritize protein at breakfast (stabilizes neurotransmitters), do 4-7-8 breathing to calm your nervous system, and consider magnesium glycinate (300-400mg at bedtime).

I'm pretty much doing the opposite of all of this (as I drink my regular morning cup of coffee on an empty stomach). I'm game to try any/all of the suggestions, especially the ones that don't require me to run out and buy new stuff. No reason I shouldn't already be walking in short bursts daily, for example. Thanks for the video.

I've noticed a need for electrolytes over the last year. I will be 45 soon, so I am definitely in the throes of perimenopause. I am slowly working on other habits, especially moving more!

Just started using electrolytes, I use it when I feel off, having hard time to trust it and make it daily habit yet. Now will try to use it more often
