I'm 71, not on HRT, and I strength train 3 times a week. Yes! This can be done. Thanks for your channel.

I don't know why, but, I thought you stop because you are old, but it's not. If you stop you will lose your ability and then be old. I have started lifting weights and i love it!

Thank God for Dr. Stacy Simmons she seems to be the only one that gives us women that can’t take HRT a positive outcome outlook on things we can do to help with that phase of life

I love Dr Sims!! I’m 54 female and is post menopause, have been following her advice. I’ve never been a breakfast person but now trying to eat some protein and carb within a half hour of waking up in the morning. It has made such a difference for me, especially getting rid of the meno belly. I didn’t realize that I was under fed and over worked before.

This was awesome to see:<br>I'm going through menopause with hot-flashes periodically during the day. I have been lifting, rowing for a year now. And I got to tell, ya, lifting weights has helped me tremendously. I won't have anyone to take care of me, besides my husband, when I grow older. He won't either. We only have each other. So, being independent is crucial. So, I row and lift weights, walk the dog for 2 miles five times a week. It's staying busy and not sitting around feeling sorry for myself; it's about staying in good humor and having a uplifting song in your heart that matters the most. God bless.

I am 60, 80lbs overweight, have a crappy knee, ex-smoker (12 years smoke free!) and my version of starting slow would probably be considered going backwards to many but I’m trying and learning what I can from Dr. Sims’ channel. Awesome advice Dr. Sims!

Have been following Stacy Sims protocols since I went into menopause this year. I bought her book. Now on MHT to reduce the sudden inflammation in the joints and sleep again. Joined the gym. Doing sprints and weights along with boxing. Not lost weight but have gained 800g muscle, better balance, bone mass up by 200g, vo2max slowly improving. I’m fitter than I was before perimenopause hit 5 years ago. It works!

I'm really glad you started becoming active on the internet. I think you might have been the catalyst to start discussion of women's health in a serious way on the internet. I have no idea why we've been an afterthought, even for female health influencers.

I’ve tried so many HRT options and have always felt worse. Love lifting weights and choose to get through this without hormones. Lifestyle changes have been incredibly powerful.
