  I like how pos dream self isn t what he becomes at the end of the film Po in his dream is a stoic, warrior, serious warrior who hides his identity behind a hat and robes, but at the end of that same movie when he emerges from the smoke he is exactly the same person at the start of the movie he was at the end a big fat, friendly, wise cracking laid back goofy panda the only change been he&apos;s mastered kung fu, Po didn t need to become that warrior in his dreams he just needed to improve upon the person he already was be himself.

  You know what the funniest part was? Po would always over think things. He made getting into the palace complicated by flying over the wall. Meanwhile he wasnt locked out, he was pulling the door when it was a push door. We see this later on when his dad gets in by pushing lol

  I also think it’s important to note how both Tai Lung and Po respond to the scroll.<br><br>When Po see’s the scroll, he mentions that it’s “Blank”. Which kind of ties into how you’ve been describing how Po sees his future. He has the blue prints, but he has a blank map. A blank canvas even, which is a symbol for potential because the canvas could hold anything. Could <b>be</b> anything.<br><br>Whereas Tai Lung looks at the scroll and says that it’s “Nothing”. Nothing is void of potential, because it can’t be anything. And it represents how Tai Lung, although justified in his anger, was doomed to fail from the start. His view of the world, and his own worth, are defined by objects and titles. His pursuit to the rank of Dragon Warrior was under the belief that it was his to earn and his alone. So when things change, when his beliefs are challenged, he falls apart because he isn’t capable of admitting that his training wasn’t anything more than what Shifu told him. Without the title of dragon warrior, Tai Lung sees his training as a failure, that it was all for “Nothing”. His greatest fear is the realization that everything he worked for, his entire escape from prison, his battle on the bridge, his pursuit for the scroll, was for “Nothing”.

  The last fight kinda reminds me of Alysa Liu. IIRC she won gold medal in figure skating at recent Olympics by loving the game and accepting herself, while others were try-harding or something like that.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vjly3WGDFPo&amp;t=890">14:50</a> Someone from a different video comment section said this about the scene but in my own words: Tai Lung saw nothing because that is how he saw himself without the title of Dragon Warrior. Po saw the scroll as blank because he saw the Dragon Warrior as an unfilled page of awesome adventures that have yet to happen and be told. I think about that a lot.
