When people fear consequences more than failure, they cease to think. A system that punishes initiative inevitably destroys its own adaptability.
Some believe obedience is strength, but obedience is only strength when paired with understanding. Without it, obedience becomes fragility.

It reminds me of Rocky Balboa´s quote: ""It ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward"

I remember the one time I was called a disappointment. I cried that day and carried that the rest of my life. But that was at a time I grew up clutching acceptance. They weren't disappointed in me. They were disappointed I put myself in a box I wasn't meant to be in.

I love that for almost 10 years, the first movie and the ones after this has so many people tell many perspectives.

Man I never knew how much I need to listen to this untill I am watching this video. I always had a passion towards something but fear always took over me and dictate my decision and thinking myself that I am doing this for the sake of everyone else's when in reality I am just doing it because I am afraid of what comes next. Thank you so much for the video

I couldn’t watch past tai lung part because you literally called my life in the last year and a half out. I lost everything last year including my identity, so somehow “losing everything” becomes my reality and identity and i’ve been trying so hard to ensure that identity stays with me so my suffering can mean something.. thanks for opening up my eyes.
