  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXV7PjmoX94&amp;t=432">7:12</a> - of course there is handwaving but...geckos actually &apos;unstick&apos; as they walk on walls through mechanical action, like peeling off tape, just much quicker. I&apos;d imagine Spidey is doing the same thing without really thinking about it.

  I would contend a spider can let go anytime it wants. It&apos;s climbing on the ceiling, attaches a web, and rappels down in your face to give you a panic attack. It must have been able to let go of the ceiling at will.

  Actually, canonically Peter can stick with any part of his body. It’s not just his hands and feet. That’s what he typically uses, but technically the entire reason you can’t move his suit is cause he’s using his adhesion ability to hold his suit to his body is included his torso, his legs, and even his face so technically the more part of his body to touch the surface the more grip he has

  Hear me out.<br>Scientists have already genetically produced silk from milk. So naturally spiderman should be shooting webs from his nipples.

  i think we fundamentally misunderstand spiderman and his powers. <br>he got spider attributes stacked on to his human body so the strength should work. bones and muscles + adrenaline and the spider dna should let him push above his class.<br>the spider sense and lack of spider webs is the proof. he’s really something of a jedi, able to sense things. i imagine his main power is mentally connecting to the web of life and being able to sense things like a spider on a web but in the way a jedi describes the force as flowing through all things. he made the spider web fluid as an extension of this concept. <br>he got strength from the spider<br>cosmic awareness and minor gravity manipulation from being a spider totem<br>and made the webs himself to actually bring all of this together in a usable way

  During the Black Suit Saga they actually showed Spider-Man injure his shoulder... he was out of webs and was falling down the side of a building... he sticks his hand out to catch himself and yeah he sticks to the building but he dislocates his shoulder... then for a while that arm was in a sling...😁💙
