  Infinity War is the first time I can recall a villain really and truly actually winning at the end of the film. Like everyone was leaving the theater silent.

  I don&apos;t normally say this but... great refresh.<br><br>Loki, Ghost, Scarlet Witch and Nebula are four of my favourite MCU characters. All are villains who survived. And got redeemed to be fair. Thunderbolts* is unironically my favourite MCU movie.

  Villains not dying and being milked to death in comics isn&apos;t a good thing.<br><br> 50 years worth of stories add up to zero consequences because the villains just keep coming back. Characters aren&apos;t allowed to evolve, aren&apos;t allowed peace, aren&apos;t allowed new relationships or progression because a villain will just come back to ruin it for them.<br><br>Stories become stale, predictable and repetitive. 50 years worth of stories and Daredevil is still fighting Kingpin &amp; Bullseye. The fans are tired and the writers are tired. Using the same villain again and again doesn&apos;t encourage creativity from the writer&apos;s side to make new more interesting villains.<br><br>&quot;Villains don&apos;t die&quot; isn&apos;t a genius move as you claim it is, it&apos;s a trick to keep IPs alive so they can make the same story for the 100th and sell it. Villains not dying is the epitome of superhero comics which don&apos;t matter.<br>Superhero defeats villain for the 100th time? Doesn&apos;t matter. He&apos;ll just be back.<br><br>If anything MCU solved Comics problem by killing off their villains so they can tell new stories.
