  The only problem with making people out of “smart atoms” is that it can’t be reproduced through population. DNA as a molecule can only code for codons, which form proteins, structures that are larger than it. Unless it’s somehow coding for enzymes that can rearrange the quark configurations of subatomic particles on the fly, there’s no way to use a massive polymeric molecule to code for objects that are orders of magnitude smaller.

  The fact that thragg is "the perfect breed" is just the cherry on top. His body is perfectly adapted to bend space so he is the best at everything which makes a viltrumite strong. His punches are strong and his flying speed is enormous. Great video brochaco

  Having viltrumite powers be explainable instead of just copy paste superman actually makes it more enjoyable for me, its such a shame they didn't think this through themselves

  One could also argue that the reason Viltrumites age in general is also due to the healing factor. When it's able to focus solely on repairing the damage done by cells and aging it effectively stops the aging process. But when they get hurt to a certain level, perhaps just as simple as the skin breaking or even severe enough as a deep wound or broken bone, the healing process focuses less on repairing age damages and entirely on the call processes and immediate harm. This could also explain why Nolan and Conquest look old and ancient respectively, despite Conquest likely being only a few decades or centuries older than Thragg and Nolan clearly being shown to be younger than him. The fact that both of them have been in countless battles that lead them to suffer severe wounds causing them to slowly age over the course of thousands of years. Whereas Thragg lilely only suffered severe injuries during his training, and since that stopped he's effectively been stuck at his current physical age since nothing can really damage him enough go override the anti-aging part of his healing
