  Being I am 68 and grew up in the 60s and 70s, it always amazes me that almost no one recognize Jack Lord (CIA Felix). He was the original McGarrett on the original HAWAII 5 0 FOR 12 years on CBS.

  Fun fact: although the first film, Dr No was the sixth James Bond book. In the previous books, B9nd used a Beretta. Author Ian Fleming was contacted by a weapons expert named Geofffrey Boothroyd, who explained that the gun was a poor choice for Bond and recommended the Walther PPK as a substitute. Fleming made the change and &nbsp;named Bond&apos;s Quartermaster (Q) after Boothroyd. Both the Walther and Q would become iconic in the film franchise.

  Dr. No wasn&apos;t really telling Bond his entire evil plan, he was telling the audience, since we had no insight into Dr. No&apos;s motivation until that point.

  I&apos;m 73, the first time I noticed Sean Connery was in a Walt Disney movie called Darby O&apos;gill and the Little People from 1959. <br>I think he got more attractive as he grew older. And I read Flemings 007 books in jr.high, I snuck them out of my older brothers room. My favorite was On Her Majesty&apos;s Secret Service.😂😂

  The scene where Honey Rider was saved from the water... there was SUPPOSED to be large crabs trying to eat her, but the crabs kept cooking to death under the studio lights.

  Oh yeah... The scene where Honey comes out of the water is iconic James Bond. The actress was the Swiss Ursula Andress, who became the &quot;it girl&quot; of Sixties movies. Halle Berry replicates the Dr No beach scene in Die Another Day with Pierce Brosnan. 😎☘️

  “There has to be a cut scene here.” &nbsp;<br><br>You’re on the right track. &nbsp;In the original novel, when Bond rescues Honey, she’s been tied up to be eaten by the crabs that are all over the island (“Crab Key”). &nbsp; When they put the real crabs on set, they just sat there and it looked stupid, so the director got rid of them and I guess we’re just supposed to assume she was left to drown. <br><br>Also, Bond’s escape in the novel is a deliberate obstacle course set up by Dr. No to see how much a human body can go through. &nbsp;At the end, before he makes the final encounter with Dr. No, Bond ends up in a lagoon where he has to fight a giant squid with a makeshift spear. &nbsp;This was left out of the film because they didn’t have the budget for the giant squid effects.
