What I know about sailing you could write on a pin head,but I find it fascinating the amount of knowledge you need to even think about the challenges you undertake solo,I’m getting addicted to the concept of solo sailing and can now appreciate the people like sir Francis Chichester who I remember from my school days as being the well known name in sailing,great job great log keep up the good work

When reviewing the history of solo circumnavigations, mention must be made of Naomi James from New Zealand. In June 1978 she became the first female to sail around the world solo via Cape Horn (with three brief port calls I think). She did it on a 53 foot yacht Express Crusader after only two years prior sailing experience.
