  As an experienced offshore sailor myself, this guy is a must-watch for any/all sailors wanting to head offshore. Forget the YouTube stations with the pretty wife and manufactured drama, you'll learn way more by really listening to this guy and replicating his setup and procedures.

  As a sailor with about 15 years of experience, I have found your videos to be a Master Class. I have gleaned so much knowledge from all of your videos, I really appreciate you sharing your experience, tips and tricks and most of all your sense of calm in stressful situations. You have certainly pounded into me the standard operating procedure of addressing the immediate danger, sit, stare, analyze, then plan a solution.  Oh, I am also an experienced mechanic, and your analysis and wrenching has been spot on.   My 15 year old son and I have been watching, learning and invested in the problem solving. &nbsp;When it turned over and starting charging we both cheered. &nbsp;Nicely done Chris and hope you have clear skies and following seas the rest of the sail. <br> &nbsp; Also, It&apos;s so amazing having such connectivity out on the open ocean! &nbsp; Let&apos;s hear it for all the engineers and technicians keeping the wheels on that bus! &nbsp;(so to speak)

  I love the fact that you are emphasising &quot;no rush&quot;, sailing the boat and are not letting the problems that stack wear you down. I assume this comes with experience and learning some lessons the hard way. I think this is one of the best sailing channels in terms of seamanship.
