  I was listening to you guys talk about motor mounts so I decided to check mine. One was loose! I resisted the temptation to tighten the top nut so I couldn't make the situation worse. Then I posted my good fortune on FB and immediately 2 other sailors I know also found loose nuts. Crazy huh? Way to go once again Capt (s).

  The first time I saw Prickly Bay, I was floating down in a parachute with Cubans shooting at me. Since then I've passed by, delivering from Trinidad, but never had time to stop.

  100% at about <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGrx2pMPOTA&amp;t=3960">1:06:00</a>&apos;ish where Ryan is talking about using the auto-pilot in general, and in heavy weather. &nbsp;I grew up without it. &nbsp;I have learned that it is great for reducing fatigue and having fresh strong arms when you need them. &nbsp;There are times you need to quickly disengage it and drive the boat. &nbsp;Letting it drive also lets you look more at the ocean all around you, AIS/Radar, sails, rigging, etc., etc. &nbsp;Great episode 🍻

  Probably one of the most beneficial podcast style videos you’ve done James. Such amazing info from Ryan and great interview techniques as well. Kudos! I’ve been a budget sailor for decades and have read 60% of the usual books (yours is next on the list). I’ve sailed on dozens of boats racing and cruising, been through The Canal three times and crewed a 37ft Tri that dismasted in the middle of the pacific. Even with this experience, I’m thinking spending the 2k to do a passage with Ryan could save tens of thousands in the long run. Even for a cheap ass bastard such as myself.
