  Battle of petersburg started June 9,1864 when the old men and young boys manned the trenches and armed with old muskets repulsed butler cavalry who was armed with modern repeating rifles.

  What was Butler doing? At around the 12min mark rebels are travelling into Petersburg from Richmond right in front of him. Was he counting how many came in? Or waving at them?

  Grant annihilated 3 entire confederate armies in 3 separate theaters.  No other general on either side even destroyed 1.  Grant - 3. Everyone else - 0

  through a mistake that was made in another video on a location on a map and the way it was described I figured out that this person copies whoever makes the videos called warhawk the civil war history videos this person copies their dialogue word for word and then just remakes the video with whatever maps I guess they have or whatever and I know this because they said the exact same wrong place name for a place on a map and it's it's a place that wasn't even named that in the civil war by the way and it was the same weird quirky way of pronouncing that or like it was adding the before the proper name of a road it's just really weird but the dude warhawk did it and I was like why did this person do it and then I realized this person did it too and what a strange thing for two people to do and then I realized wait a minute it's because he copied warhawk's dialogue word for word so this person doesn't even really create their own content they just copy someone else's and I guess maybe put together maps but probably not they've probably copied the visual content too and then just laid someone else's dialogue word for word over it that they read themselves so just letting everyone know how much of a lazy piece of crap this person is I don't know I'm not watching their stuff anymore I'm wasting my time even commenting on their stuff cuz it's going to force it to the algorithm further but hopefully everyone reads this and finds out what kind of a charlatan they are and they should just probably watch some other videos by someone that has a degree in this sort of thing because they wouldn't make those sorts of ignorant mistakes

  I seriously want to vomit. It has been said the loser contributes as much to the outcome of a battle as the victor, and to find the Union could have captured Petersburg on the first day of the attack but again squandered an opportunity (which resulted in extending the war yet another year) tells me the South “won” this battle
