  Wow! I know that I probably say this all of the time, but all of this completely resonated! It’s only recently that I have discovered that I too have a very harsh inner critic (originally both of my parents). My dad died a few years ago and my mum is only about 1/4 here as she has advanced dementia. Grief is a very heavy emotion to process when one has CFS too. Thanks to Katie and Alex for this. 💜

  That’s exactly how I feel! I’ve questioned myself several times, have I damaged my kids, I’m not valuable, I’m worthless, I don’t deserve etc...

  I see so much of myself in this story. Thank you for your gentle, tender, kind vulnerability. It makes me recognize how beautiful life is...and I needed that reminder today.

  We are so similar.  I have rescued dogs for decades to feel needed because humans don't like me.  My daughter let me know I was a terrible mother.  My mom is a narcissist so is my husband.  my poor inner child is so sad.  I love her so much.  Thank you

  Well done Katie, it’s not easy but you are doing so well!! You are speaking for me.... that little girl is trapped but she wants your compassion and naturing which she didn’t receive. Mother wounds are deep!!
