  Letting others witness this woman's journey is a real gift to the world!  We have all either been or could have been where she is at. We learn from each other as much as we do from therapists, etc.  Thank you for choosing her and giving us a seat in the room too.

  Oh wow. The breaking of the board made me so emotional. <br><br>I did that in my 30&apos;s. The night my karate class got graded for our first yellow belt, my sensei picked me in the class to break a board. I&apos;d never seen it done irl, I didn&apos;t think I could. I remember thinking &quot;It can&apos;t be worse than childbirth&quot;, but I trusted Sensei&apos;s judgement and committed to it. It broke straight up. It didn&apos;t hurt a fraction. It was empowering. <br><br>What a wonderful exercise to do in therapy.

  I am so happy for Nicole. &nbsp;I admire her determination and strength. &nbsp;She now has an inner glow she did not have prior to her work and I know she will continue to shine from within. &nbsp;Thank you for sharing her journey with us.

  Thank you Nicole for being so open and honest, and thank you Alex for guiding her with such compassion, yet firmness. I can and will take away a few lessons for my own life. &nbsp;I can &apos;wallow&apos; in grief and sadness, or I can decide to let the past go, and move on remembering all the times I found strength to continue. &nbsp;Very grateful, Alex.
