The CCI Stinger is often called the “Ferrari of .22 LR” — not always necessary, but thrilling to use when performance matters. If you want a .22 round that goes the extra mile, the Stinger is hard to beat.

The .22 LR is the preferred caliber for the Mafioso for a good reason.

I was told by a retired Secret Service Agent many years ago, that fifty percent of the people shot and killed in the U.S. are killed, die from being shot with a .22 LR. He said if the person shot with .22, they had better get medical attention right away or they will pass away within 2 to 4 days from infection. He was in the Minneapolis when President Reagon was shot and almost died from a .22LR

 A.I. Junk!
Anyway, the tie for maximum expansion would be the Stinger and that Aguila 30-grain hollow point.

The competitors for deep penetration and tissue damage would be the CCI Velocitor and the Remington Viper. The Velocitor delivers more energy, while the Viper depends on its flat nose for splash, and its solid construction for superior penetration. The Velocitor would feed better, which the Viper is notoriously poor at doing.

I like the Winchester Super-X 40-grain hollowpoint load a lot, in revolvers and single-shots. But I've seen enough feeding problems due to its wide flat nose.

People love semi-autos. But the manually-operated actions have some real benefits. At least you can feel if they fail to feed, instead of only feeling the problem when the trigger goes "mush" instead of functioning. I've lost enough pests to unnoticed malfunctions, and would hate to have that happen in a defensive situation where timing can make the difference between victory and defeat.

I guess the creator doesn't know the difference between 22lr and 22wm. You can't fire 22wm in a gun chambered for 22lr

While not as fast as the CCI Stinger (around 1,280 fps), the Power-Point delivers tight groupings and reliable terminal performance
