  These narcissists do not show up like this! They show up as charming, kind, fun, listening, saying all the right things. You will be deeply in love by the time the mask slips and even then it slips little by little followed by apologies, tears, begging, gifts, compliments, trips, jewelry. It takes years for the mask to completely come off and even when u split, they step up the manipulation to win u back. No one can see this coming. It's like running into a psychopath. And everyone still loves them to this day. Only u saw the darkness and evil behind closed doors. I have ptsd.

  After an abusive relationship, I set a rule of 3 tears. <br><br>If I cried because of someone&apos;s actions toward me three times, then I go no-contact. <br><br>In practice, this helped me to get rid of several people in my life. Now I am surrounded by people who are kind and loving, and I don&apos;t cry because of them, instead I smile.

  1) don’t be a giver learn to take instead of constantly giving <br>2) don’t give second third chances etc , don’t be overly kind ie don’t be a doormat <br>3) learn to control your empathy don’t be so validating that they invalidate you <br>4) don’t accept devaluation ; treat people like they treat you no need to be submissive <br>5) don’t question yourself <br>6) you deserve the same kindness and respect you give to someone else remember that always

  Yes, a favorite tool of narcissists is Reactive Abuse - mistreating you to bait you into a naturally negative human reaction to being mistreated. &nbsp;Then stepping back and pointing the finger at you as the one with the problem, and using your reaction to their mistreatment of you as &quot;evidence&quot;. &nbsp;Get out of that relationship, &nbsp;because there is NO chance of making it a healthy one.
