  I’ve been married to a narcissist for 47 years and I’m actually packing things today to leave. I have no idea what to do or how to live. I’m going to move with one of my daughters. He controls all the finances and all it gives me why he thinks I deserve when he thinks I deserve it, which is very rare. I feel like I’m losing my mind. I got to get out please please pray for me!!

  The most irritating thing about being in a narcissistic relationship is literally ending up  doing some of the things that your abuser does. And it happens so slowly that you don’t even recognize it until it’s too late. Like becoming paranoid yourself because you have been lied to constantly. Like loosing your temper and acting crazy When you have finally had enough of the nonsense. Like wanting to record conversation because you have been told 1000 times that you aren’t remembering right. Like acting out and giving the abuser a taste of their own medicine because trying to have an adult conversation about how their words and actions are hurting you end up with you being the controlling, gaslighting, victim. It’s the most disgusting mental gymnastics game ever. I absolutely hate it.

  How I escaped my narcissistic husband? Well, I took a 50 pound suitcase , my cat, and my 6 months pregnant belly and fled to Germany 😐 was it easy? NO! Was it worth it? Definitely YES! We are safe now! That’s all that matters to me!
