  May is my favorite of Ash’s female companions. &nbsp; &nbsp;I love how her story started, how she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do, and then she found something she liked and made it her dream and started to pursue it

  Honestly she was a good character,also I appreciate her more because she is one of the earlier characters in the series. I was really hoping for her return,though I understand the Japanese culture of not replacing Va,I was still disappointed, because literally every character except for her and Max returned in the Journeys

  May has one of the most best peaked pokemon team&apos;s this franchised.. Hoenn region was iconic holy cow. love how her pokemon evolved.in a decent team to achieved.

  Glad people still care about May.<br>She was the first to really show us girls who liked Pokémon what a multidimensional female protagonist and trainer on her own journey could be! Everything from her personality, original voice actor, development, outfit, relationships with many other characters, to several evolved pokemon was what we needed to see. She&apos;ll always have a very special place no matter what ❤

  Unfortunately we will probably never see May ever again. There was a reason she never interacted with Ash in Journeys like his other companions did. Her japanese voice actor got a disease that messed up her voice which prevented her from voice acting. The Pokémon company did not want to disrespect her by replacing her so they prevented May and Max from having any dialogue.

  May really should’ve appeared in XY Series too where she missed have a Mega Blazekin for her contest or other events. With that team following the Wallace Cup and possibly collecting more Pokemon, imagine if she came to Kalos to not only learn about Showcases &nbsp;and spreading Pokemon Contest, but also tries out the Kalos League despite being impossible.
