  I like how it’s kind of a running gag that pikachu will bail on Ash at the drop of a hat for Misty. Refuses to fight during the Cerulean gym battle, leaps into action when Misty needs to borrow a Pokemon for whatever reason, and this goes til the final episodes of Journeys! Ash is like okay cool good to see you again, and Pikachu refuses to leave unless Misty tags along.

  Misty underwater battle with Molly is arguably the best trainer match in Pokemon history. Her Staryu have no business to go that hard 👏🏻

  Even though she was written in the early days of the anime before it found its footing, I always liked watching Misty as a kid. Whether it was her fighting with Ash, the sweet moments where they got along, her motherly moments with Togepi, or whenever she had a Pokemon battle, it was a joy watching her on screen.<br><br>Rest in Peace, Rachael Lillis. Thank you for bringing one of my favorite TV show characters to life with your voice, as well as Jessie and Maylene. I hope your new life in Heaven is as great for you as this one was, even though it was abruptly cut short. 🕊️ 💐

  Rest in peace, Rachael. &nbsp;I still miss her real Misty voice. (And a better love interest of ash Ketchum. If they do meet each other again as teens or adults)
