  Average college game crowds vary between like 30k-110k  for the larger Universities. And there’s multiple in basically each state

  In the NFL the stadiums have been intentionally shrinking for decades. They are making smaller stadiums with many more high end seats and amenities and trying to maximize profit per seat by improving the fan experience but also limiting the supply. The NFL makes about 75% of it&apos;s money from the TV deals now, nearing $12 billion per year, divided among the 32 teams, ticket sales are just 17% of league revenue. However in the 1970s only about 35% of league revenue came from TV contracts. Larger stadiums where a must long ago in the NFL because such a significant part of revenue for all the teams was based on ticket sales, merch, concessions, parking, etc, so the more fans the better the margins. As the TV contracts grow, the stadiums shrink. <br> <br>In the big College towns it&apos;s always largely been about jamming in as many seats as possible and keep adding. These huge colleges get money from TV deals as well but it&apos;s a fraction of what the NFL gets as the have a much larger national audience vs the very large but very regional audiences in college football. There are 8 college stadiums with a seating capacity over 100,000, with Michigan the current leader at about 108,000. <br> <br>The total seating capacity of every NFL stadium combined is about 2.1 million, or 70,000 average capacity per stadium. There are 32 teams but only 30 stadiums as the 2 New York City teams and 2 Los Angeles teams each share a stadium. The top 30 stadiums in college football hold 2.37 million, or 79,133 average capacity. Within a couple years the college number will probably creep over 80,000 and the NFL will creep under 70,000.

  College football in the US has 7 of the top 10 largest stadiums in the world. Home games for each team are typically sold out unless its a smaller school. There&apos;s 3 divisions in college football.. (div 1, 2, and 3) 3 being smaller schools. The division 1 schools typically hold 80k - 110k fans being the most competitive division. There are over 250 div 1 college football teams total

  Texas Stadium always seems to sellout, at about 110K, Michigan&apos;s bid house also seats 110K, Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio State... a little over 100K... Most other major conference Universities are 80K to 90K. Mid-size Universities 60K to 75K... and so on. There are hundreds of NCAA Colleges.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woke5AyRHcE&amp;t=1731">28:51</a> if a quaterback slides they are &quot;giving themselves up&quot; &nbsp;the ball is down where they started the slide. &nbsp;The problem with this rule is that the defender is coming in full speed and it is tough to stop his momentum in such a split second decision. &nbsp;They are supposed to avoid the QB once he starts sliding though, since he is already down anyways and the play is done.

  The big hit on the Dolphins QB was probably clean, but it was so vicious that they probably overreacted. This is coming from a Dolphins fan.

  Some of these plays ARE cl8se calls. But every player is expected to have total control over their body. They train for all these scenarios. It feels unfair sometimes, but that is the game.❤
