  I’ve been using a “dumb” flip phone for a few months and it’s honestly changed my life in so many ways, including the fact that I have been reading more books than ever. It’s insane how I would always say “I don’t have time to read” but I was simply just spending all of my free time doom scrolling.

  Since I uninstalled Tiktok and Youtube from my phone i´ve read more than ever: Crime &amp; Punishment, Brave New World, Stoner (thanks for the rec) and some romance. I really feel no need to get back to those apps. You sure contributed to this, Lou!

  I love Demon Copperhead. As non-native English speaker, the first 60 pages were a challenge but then it took off. OMG. One of the best books I read during my reading journey. Delighted you enjoyed it. It&apos;s a real gem.

  how im not addicted: turn screen time on and delete the top three most used apps (if u cant do that, limit them)

  Demon Copperhead was one of the books that got me back into literature. The audiobook is fantastically narrated. I cried in my car driving to work when I got to Demon’s lowest of lows. It’s such a phenomenal book.

  I actually have changed my big Samsung z flip to my iPhone SE 2 because I simply have less battery, smaller screen and no distraction of a second screen on top of that. I did the same thing and decided to go back to my childhood roots of just indulging in countless books before I even had a smartphone. I missed the realness of getting to know people but also I am so often at a disadvantage if I delete social media because of the peer pressure of allowing communication. It’s a bit nerve wracking but whoever is still continuing without using much of social media or a phone I APPLAUD YOU YOURE AN INSPIRATION TO MANY
