  I really hope you like this video. It was the product of a sustained read-along with my book club, plus a lot of work to try and distill the main lessons of The Republic into a single video. It’s the biggest project I’ve done to date. It was also the most expensive! In addition to working with my typical editor, I hired a voice actor for some of the quotes and an animator to try and make descriptions of the myths a little more interesting. <br><br>If you want to support my work, the best way to do that (aside from watching the videos) is to subscribe on Substack.   I read Republic in high school. Now, I study engineering and philosophy at university. This book changed my life for the better. It was the allegory of the cave that described the discontent I had felt in my soul since childhood of which I was unable to understand in my mind or express through my language.

  There&apos;s this guy, Kael AZ, who erased all traces of his past and vanished, and after seeing how deeply he exposes modern programming, I&apos;m freaked out. But his theories on how frequency and human reality work are absolutely insane.
