  Grew up in western NY where the LV was flatter and faster. Early memories include a ride from Geneva to NYC (on the Maple Leaf?).

  Some of my very ancient paternal ancestral roots in the US (1700s/pre-Revolutionary War) are in the actual Lehigh Valley; Lynn Township to be more precise – true &quot;Pennsylvania Dutch&quot;, albeit immigrating from a bit farther south than typical, in the Baden-Württemberg region. &nbsp;Over the course of the roughly 300 years since, our particular small branch of the family geadually moved as far west within the continental US as possible, ultimately settling in the Pacific Northwest, which both my late mother&apos;s and late father&apos;s familes have called home for well over 100 years. &nbsp;I&apos;ve never been to Pennsylvania myself (yet), but somehow I have had an interest in the LV, Reading, and Pennsy roads for years, perhaps indirectly influenced by familial geographical association.
