  Something they also like to do is avoid restocking budget/entry level products, to encourage people to buy the more expensive items with greater profit margins. I’ve seen them avoiding restocking budget brand products for up to two whole weeks, giving the shoppers no option but to get the more expensive items or starve.

  Tesco have been recycling the bakery smell to the front of store for over 40 years. I was a young engineer that worked on Tesco superstores in the late 70`s and it was quite an innovative idea back then.

  I pay 28p for a tin &nbsp;of beans and I add barbecue sauce to it and it saves me 68p on a tin of barbecue beans lol😂<br>❤ from Teesside Middlesbrough 🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

  When the reduced stuff comes out it’s like feeding time at the zoo,I feel sorry for the staff literally being pushed out the way.I think a lot more people know this stuff than you think.

  My shopping habits changed when I began shopping for food items with fewer ingredients and gave up the Ultra Processed Foods aka UPFs. I don&apos;t crave anything unhealthy anymore. Deals are not a spending trap as I don&apos;t put them in my small trolley. I&apos;m also full for longer so I have no need for junk snacks or desserts. I spend less and have less waste packaging. I do sometimes spend more time in store as I read all food labels but the extra time doesn&apos;t mean I&apos;m purchasing &apos;bargains&apos; so I don&apos;t fall into their ideal customer category 😊
