  Many years ago, I worked in a major supermarket, and I saw the butchers remove the pre-packed steaks from the displays when they were getting close to their &quot;sell by date&quot;, remove them from the packaging and soak them overnight in a large container of blood, and re-package them the next morning.<br>I&apos;ve only bought meat from my local butcher since.<br>Plus, it&apos;s helping my small town 👍👍

  I don’t go out to restaurants for meals, any more. I don’t even like going on holiday, &nbsp;because of the food situation in the hospitality industry. It is not in their interest, to give you high quality food.<br>Corporate greed. <br>I’ll stay at home, source, buy &amp; cook my own whole organic food.

  I started going to a farm shop a few months ago. They sell their own produce. I bought a chicken from them (yes it was £3.00 dearer than an equivelant supermarket chicken). What shocked me was how white the bones were on the farm shop bought chicken. I&apos;ll never buy from a supermarket again, that includes vegetables and fruit.
