HMs Belfast is a magnificent warship. A D-Day veteran, warship that help sink the Scharnhorst, fought in the Pacific Campaign and during the Korean War.

I had the opportunity to visit HMS Belfast three weeks ago while in London. My wife knew that I wanted to see the ship while in London and she treated me to the tour. As a sailor during Vietnam any ship I visit brings back the memories of my youth from long ago along with many emotions. It was a great tour and even though it was British everything was very familiar and relatable to my ship. Thank you for a great video.

I am so proud of having worked in the shipyard that produced HMS Belfast and the many other ships that served our country. East Belfast has produced many fine ships, alongside Van Morrison, CS Lewis, George Best...

My Dad was on the Belfast at the time this happened. The ship had hit a mine and my Dad was thrown into the water, the ship made it back with a huge hole in the bow. Then he served on the Russian conveys escorting ships carrying supplies.

I have been onboard HMS Belfast 11 times in the last year.
I walk past it every day to work.
It’s a lovely ship.
She’s also the only ship allowed to fly the navel ensign that’s not an active vessel.

It’s incredible
