A note on Shane's diet... I understand why people are saying it's disordered, but he's always kept this diet and it ramps up in the long game after he comes out to his team. He admits to rose that "some of the guys aren't cool with it" and while he can't control that, he can control his diet, so he doubles down on it. He is clearly picking up on the tension with his team, but he is trying to be the absolute best hockey player so the critics don't have any room to criticize him.

I'm so glad I found you on Threads. I cannot wrap my mind around what this series has done to me and you are helping me break it down. It's like a locked off section of my brain has been cracked wide open by the characters, the soundtrack, the joy and the pain. I've got the books on order and cannot wait to read them. No joke I feel like the rest of my life will be defined by the before HR and the after.

Thank you for expressing how you feel and making me not get that odd that I'm getting like this and well

I cannot help admiring your genius for finding a way to make these books and the series so central in a semi-legitimate way: "Does this go away a little bit? Is this my life?" Same, sisters.

The parallel from earlier in the episode when Shane and Ilya couldn’t take their hands/mouths off each other or get up the stairs fast enough to Shane following Rose up the same stairs as if he was going to the gallows.

“I fear for my family” hahaha I died. So relatable. This is my first actual obsession too. It’s a little scary, but you ladies make it less terrifying ❤️

Just joining the chorus to say how happy I am to have found your podcast. I'm late to the HR party, but have been absolutely careening between feral and deeply unwell for a week now after pressing play on EP 1 and not being able to stop until the final frame of EP 6. The "what am I supposed to do with this/is this just the way I am now"? Is SO real, and so are the palpitations. 😅🥵💯
