  Don&apos;t you love how Harley top admin chose to simultaneously cut costs by putting cheap junk parts in while astronomically increasing price and dealer snootiness?

  I’ve had two twin cams 2001 and 2003 and yes I upgraded the cam tensioners to hydraulic and with upgrading &nbsp;the cam bearings both bikes were bulletproof. I ride my 2003 fatboy regularly now for long trips and it has had no issues on long trips while my friends M8s are having to stop on dealerships on trips to be repaired, so don’t be scared of a twin cam 88. I’ve seen them for sale for $2500 and you can upgrade the cam tensioners and bearings for under $1000 and have a great bike. Can upgrade the cam plate oil pumps adj rods, and upper breathers and be a bike that will be more reliable for less than $5k &nbsp;than any new bike with all the electric issues they constantly have. That being said the any evo from 1996-1998 are super reliable bike out there if carbureted. Wind glides and Softails are great buys. My 2003 883 sportster which is my new project is absolutely the best made bike Harley ever made.

  Tc88. Change cam shoes and cam plate. New oil pump and ride on. 05 tc88 and a 09 tc103 both almost at 50k.

  Every one&apos;s that no big deal as long as it doesn&apos;t go over 30 thousnt swop 2 performance cam plate and new cam bearings it&apos;s eazy twin cams are top bikes end ov story pommi boy

  Had a 74 1974 the alternator went bad at 4000 miles. Now have a 2011 all problems have been solved by years it’s the 103 ride ride ride no problems 2011 street glide 103 great bike for touring.

  It would be nice that when you talk about a shovelhead that you show a shovelhead not a Japanese, same thing when speaking of an Evo don’t show an M8, if your going to make video make it with the correct info. Thank you

  I gave my father my first bike, a2005 Harley sportster 883xl custom bored out to a 1200.<br>He gave it back when he bought his dyna glide.<br>I changed engine and primary oil on it at 25,000 miles.<br>I think it went 15k without the primary being changed.<br>Adjusted the tensioner.<br>Engine Oil interval must’ve been 9800 miles.<br>Couple of rubber diaphragms needing replaced most likely due to ethanol degradation

  I had a 99 road King drove it for over 100,000 miles before I traded it in for a different bike, no issues whatsoever, they had recall on the cam chain tensioner and I took it in for the recall no problems ever , also had a 1976 liberty edition electro glide AMF had that bike for 21 years
