My stunning 2019 Indian Springfield had that gear position indicator problem in it's first week of ownership. It was quickly fixed. Other than that, I've got over 30k trouble free miles on the Springfield. The Thunderstroke 111 is a jewel.

I love Harley’s,<br>I do not love needing a degree in mechanical engineering.<br>Not to mention that they make it so hard to work on your <br>own bike that takes the love out of working on own bike!

I put 277,000 miles on my 2000 Kawasaki 1500 Drifter. That included 2 Iron Butts. In my early 70s I developed an essential tremor. I couldn't keep a steady throttle and my balance became suspect. The VA helped with meds. But it was not a hill to die on. I miss riding every single day.

My father's old Honda CM 125T still runs well. He brought it back as a reconditioned imported bike 45 years ago. About 10 years ago, he changed the flywheel from a 6V one on a CM 125 Custom to a 12V version. It still runs, but it's not as smooth as it used to be. 😂

My 1987 1400 Suzuki Intruder has never ever left me stranded on the side of the road . 250K on the odometer . Just routine maintenance plus odds and ends throughout the years . It’s held up better than in the 39 years 😮
