  Part of the reason The Dark Side works, and why Matthew Stafford &nbsp;and Phillip Rivers are the only 2 QBs to perform against it, is that modern day QBs arent taught to dissect a defense properly anymore. Nowadays (really took off when McVay became HC) the offensive coordinator/playcaller will read the defense and give adjustments to the QB via the helmet intercom. Problem there is, that intercom shuts off at the 20 second mark on the playclock. &nbsp;In those 20 seconds is where the Dark Side comes alive. At that point the Defense can shift to what it wants/needs to be, and because QBs arent coached to read defenses on their own anymore, they get confused and panic. <br><br>Kirko said it best, &quot;its like you&apos;re playing againat 2 defenses at the same time,&quot; and young QBs simply dont have the processibg ability to handle that.

  Selfish players know McDonald won’t put up with their garbage. It’s why Donkey Kong requested a trade and Woolen is now Philadelphia’s problem. Also very happy with Geno’s choice to stop responding during contract negotiations. Seattle doesn’t win the division with him at QB.

  The LOB isn&apos;t just a memory, they&apos;re a LEGEND here in Washington.. They are our guys and I can&apos;t help but get excited whenever I see them chill&apos;n at more recent Hawk games. Like seeing Lynch showing up at SB60 or seeing Richard Sherman, those guys are every part of the Seahawk culture as all the rest of the many legends we&apos;ve had over the years. They aren&apos;t just memories, their Legends.

  On the &quot;culture&quot; thing, something that wasn&apos;t mentioned in this video and seems to have been forgotten was when Macdonald first arrived in Seattle, he had the large images of past-great Seahawks that were prominently displayed throughout the facility removed and said they&apos;d start their own culture going forward. At the time it offended me a bit that he&apos;d be so dismissive of Seahawks history, but the results speak for themselves...
